Braemar 24 May 2009 Baltic

Written before but as the cruise is getting nearer wondered if anybody else sailing on this cruise is interested in using a private tour company to view St. Petersburg. We have been in touch with Alla Tours who seem to offer a very good package, we compared them with Red October and DenRus. Rather than be on our own, we think it would be more fun to share the experience with others making up a party of about 8 or so. You can check out these companies online. So to enjoy St. Petersburg and see everything you want to see and stuff you did not even know about, come and join us!!:)

It is just over six weeks before we sail and we are yet to receive the list of excursions from Fred Olsen, I have checked their web site and the excursions listed are still from 2008. We have sailed with Fred Olsen twice before, we are well acquainted with their excursions and have decided for St. Petersburg we need to do it in a small group or we just wont see half the things waiting for people to load and unload from the coach!! Also the Russian Tour Companies deal with all the American ships seperately.
