Ketchikan excursion

Just wondering if anyone has done the Adventure Kart & Jet Boat Expedition through Princess. We will be on the Star the first week of June, and this excursion sounds fun. It seems to have gotten good reviews in the past. Can anyone tell how rough it is, also is it worth the money. We looked onto the jeep and canoe axcursion, and it didn't seem to get any good reviews. Any help would be greatly appreciated. :o

I really enjoyed this tour. The carts are a lot of fun, and perform well. It is a tour so you will be traveling in a group.

You heard right, DON'T do the Jeep/Canoe excursion - ugh!!!! The kart excursion sounds like a blast though and very similar to the Rhino 4X4 excursion we did (AND LOVED!) in Sitka back in 2006. I say go for it!:p

Yeah, we went ahead and booked the Kart Adventure, sounds like a lot of fun, it's something we most likely would not do at home :p

We did this trip in 2004 (the first year they offered it) and it was GREAT!!!! They are 2 seat vehicles.

Yes, we did this tour through Princess in 2004 (the first year they offered it) and it was GREAT!!!

 

The ride is rough enough to be fun, but no so rough that it is painful. It is well worth the money!

 

The year we went it was VERY DRY. They gave us the face masks to wear and we were laughing because we were still spitting out dust!! We took our clothes and shook them over the balcony and make a huge cloud of dust!!

OK, I'm going to try and attach a couple of photos. One is our group and one is me and one of my best friends.

 

I noticed that they have different carts now, they look a little bigger than the ones we had.

Thanks Cindy, the pictures came through great, we like to do things like this at times, it's not necessarily something we would do near home. We are looking forward to it, and a little dust in the face never hurt anyone, we'll just make sure not to wear our formal wear while on the excursion. :D
