atdahop Posted April 11, 2009 #1 Share Posted April 11, 2009 Has anyone taken the Todos Santos tour in Cabo. I am interested to know if we should do the ships tour or try to do one on our own. Does anyone have any advice for a good tour operator in Cabo? We ahve done ships tours in the past and have wanted to try for a private one this time. You seem to get to see so much more. Thanks, Carole
Suzy Q Posted April 11, 2009 #2 Share Posted April 11, 2009 Carole, We took this ship's tour last year. GD was bored to death--do not take children. Long bus ride out and (obviously) back. Hotel California was interesting, lunch was good, town small and over priced stuff. Would we do it again, no.
Rare xpcdoojk Posted April 13, 2009 #3 Share Posted April 13, 2009 I have visited Todos Santos twice. First time 13 years ago and last time 9 years ago. We were staying in Cabo (actually between San Jose Del Cabo and Cabo at the Melia). Both times we went to Todos was on our own in a jeep. To me the town itself is not worth the trip. Although I did have an excellent lunch both times there. The reason we go is to beach comb watch the kids surf, and just to ride up the road. In December we have seen whales on both of our trips. There is a beach where kids from all over hang out on the beach in tents, old vans, old RVs and surf about 1/2 way between the two. That is always interesting to stop at and take in the hippie lifestyle for a couple of hours. Other than that there is no compelling reason to go.... jc
