Has anybody heard of this? I found it my 'mistake' and thought "OOOOH!"

NCL to Offer "All Ashore Dining Guide" for Bermuda: produced as a partnership between NCL and the Bermuda Chamber of Commerce and featuring full menus and special discounts exclusively for NCL guests at 36 restaurants all across the island. Salt Rock Grill, Blackbeard's Hideout Restaurant and Bar, and Griffin's Bistro, offering NCL guests a complimentary specialty cocktail

  • Frog & Onion Pub will host a "Taste of Bermuda" in which NCL guests can sample local beers, rums, jams, peppers, rum cakes, and more from 6 to 8pm Monday and Thursday.

(It listed others, as well)

The dining guide will be available when NCL's 2008 Bermuda season...

Frommers has such GREAT stuff!

It was also on http://www.bermuda4u.com/cruise/ncl-freestyle-dining-ashore.html

I looked in the Bermuda CC forum... nothing.

Thanks.

Clare

There was a dispute between NCL and participating restaurants and nothing remotely like this was available on our June '08 Dawn to Bermuda cruise. There was a program in place at one time involving the purchase of vouchers on board that were good for restaurants on the island (for example, maybe a $50 restaurant credit than was offered onboard for $25). That program was discontinued as well.

The old dining ashore program is gone. But you can ask at guest relations for the "All-Ashore Dining Restaurant Guide."

Menus are listed for many restaurants and some do offer discounts and promotions.

Happy hours

Free drink with meal

Complete meal price for NCL guests

We got this in May 2008 on the Dawn and the 1st person I asked did not know what I was asking about. When she asked her co-worker the brochure was readily available.

I have the impression that this is still available.

I have that Dine Ashore brochure, we got it on our October 2008 Dawn cruise to Bermuda. It has a lot of pages of restaurant menus so I just have the first 8 pages with maps and names and descriptions of the restaurants (not the actual menus). It doesn't have any coupons in it but it should help you to look at it. It is on my Norwegian Dawn page down almost at the bottom.
