Would anything be open on Christmas Day in Nassau? Do you think they will just give us an extra sea day since we are already stopping in three ports?

Looks like we'll be going to San Juan on the 1/8 CB. Of course that assumes they stick to the current schedule. As a result I will be making 4:30 spa reservations for me and DW for Monday 1/10.

My TA was in touch with Princess yesterday and was told that the Jan.8/05 sailing of CB would indeed be stopping at P.Cays. We are to arrive there on Jan.14 which just happens to be my 50th so that would be a great birthday gift for me:D . So, I am keeping my fingers crossed that her info is correct.

I'll be sailing with you and I hope we go to PC, but I hate to burst your bubble, Princess CSR's always seem to be the last to know anything. Just ask anyone who cruised during the major hurricanes and the bum info the CSR's gave out. If Cruise News Daily reports that PC is closed until the end of January, believe it.

Nassau will be wide copen on Christmas day. It is British and they celebrate boxing day on the 26th. It appears that the CP will stop at P.R. I would rather have a sea day. (luv them)

I talked to Princess today and they told me Our Dawn 23rd cruise would still be going there, however I am 99% convinced they will not be there and they will be going to SJ.

I just looked at my Personalizer for the Star 1/2/05. It still shows PC. BUT I saw on the Expedia website that all the January sailings for the Star P. western itinerary are going to Majahual instead.

I checked Expedia for 1/9/05 Star and it showed Nassau. I guess we wil just have to wait and see. It really doesn't make a difference with us because we always find something to amuse us wherever we go.

Well! I just checked Expedia, too. It has the Caribbean Princess going to San Juan instead of Princess Cays for the 1/8/05 sailing. Who's in charge? Looks like Expedia is either just taking their best guess, or they know more that the Princess reps. :cool:
