$20 credit from Carnival

I just noticed on my creditcard that I have a $20 credit from Carnival. Does anyone have any idea what this is for? Not that I am complaining in any way about it, I was just curious what it was for. It states "(return) Carnival Cruise Manual". We were on the Glory March 21st.

Did you miss a scheduled port of call ? Many times that is the reimbursement for port charges.

call carnival and ask for the billing department...you can just tell them you lost your final bill and then compare the bill you got the night before and the final bill and then you would be able to see the difference

There have been some $10 pp port fee returns from Mexico but they usually show up on your S&S.

This happened to me a month after I got off of Legend last September.

 

Everytime I won on the slot machines and wanted to cash out I would put the money on my S & S card. Well I forgot to get the cash off of my S & S card the last night like they tell you to do. A month later I got 20.00 and some pennies back.

 

Maybe this is it? Just a guess.

We got $20 also last year...I think it was because they cut short the time in Venice from the posted itin. Well, that was th consensus anyway.

We were on the Glory in early March and our credit card statement had a credit of $20 as well. I remember reading something a while back about the port taxes in Mexico being lower.

We also missed Grand Cayman that cruise but our ship board account was credited for that....Hmmm
