HAL Amsterdam Cabin 7086

Recommended Posts

Looking for some in-the-know folks to help us. We are considering HAL's wonderful new 2010 Alaska itinerary, 14-day roundtrip from Seattle. This will be our third time to Alaska, but unfortunately, since this is a 14-day cruise, don't think we can swing our beloved verandah cabin.:( Looking for recommendations of an oceanview stateroom w/easy and quick access to a viewing deck, thereby having our verandah...so to speak.. Just got some great rate from our TA for partially obstructed ocean view cabin 7086 on aft Navigation deck, which appears to have a small public deck that sees little traffic, provides easy access (right out our cabin door to the outside deck!), as well as convenience to the stairs one flight up to the Lido.

Have heard this cabin is on the small side and awkwardly laid out, but also heard it is a great location, and would certainly fit the bill for easy access to a public deck. Anyone have experience with this cabin and possibly photos??? Thanks so much for any and all advice and opinions!
