Which side of the ship is next to the pier in Cozumel?

Does this vary depending on the day/ship? We're cruising on Carnival Legend if it matters.

I am not sure about the Legend but the Fantasy is always docked on the left side of the pier and the Ecstasy on the right. They have the pier painted with the ship names and where the gangway lines up.

 

I did not see any markings for the Legend. Does it dock at Porta Maya also?

No, the Legend also visits Grand Cayman, Belize, and Roatan.

I have been to Cozumel a few times on larger Carnival ships including Legend and have always moored on the right side. So if your room is on the Port side of the ship (Left) you will be able to see the pier.

 

I am not sure if this is standard for Legend but it has been my experience.
