Cyber Cabin/AOL Question!!!

Recommended Posts

We would like to sign up for the cyber cabin access available through Royal Caribbean, but we have some questions for any experts out there familiar with AOL. We are considering loading AOL on my husband's laptop since we feel it is likely that the firewall from his company will prevent usage via the ship's connection.

We are on a BYOA plan (bring your own access) because we have broadband at home, but are allowed 5 hours dial-up free per month -- we will probably exceed this though. Has anybody used AOL through this billing method and what additional charges with AOL did you incur? Or if anybody used AOL at all through this service, how were you charged?

Is there any other way to get around the firewall on his work laptop?
