Train or Car - Seward to Anchorage??

The train is relaxing and the view is great! The train parallels the road pretty much, but it's a nice, calm experience for everyone. This way, the driver can see it all. The only drawback is that the road is a little closer to the water as your near Anchorage, so it might limit your view a bit, but I think the train is a far better choice. Great views!

This is not accurate, the Seward Highway parallels the Alaska RR only about 1/3 the trip. Scenery is SUPERIOR from the train.

Which is the better option from Seward to Anchorage in terms of scenery, wildlife, photo ops?

The train has superior scenery. DO NOT expect wildlife. Photo ops are definately better by car, the train doesn't stop. IF you take the train, I suggest you make use of the vestibules and dome car, since both sides offer superior views. From Seward, you want to be on the the right side, then at the Arm, on the left. Seats are assigned on the train.
