ger_77 Posted April 18, 2009 #2 Share Posted April 18, 2009 Yes you can. All you have to do is call Guest Services of the cruise line and tell them you would like to purchase an onboard credit for your room. Tell them how much you want to post and give them your credit card number. Voila! When you get to your cabin there should be an envelope indicating that you have a credit on your account and the amount. Just in case something goes awry, bring a copy of your credit card statement and the name of the person you spoke with at the cruise line. We've never had difficulty, but it pays to be preprared just in case. Smooth Sailing! :):):)

househunter Posted April 18, 2009 #4 Share Posted April 18, 2009 Or you can just pre-pay your credit card. Then you won't have balance due when the bill comes.
2sunny Posted April 18, 2009 #5 Share Posted April 18, 2009 is there a way to add money to your sail & sign card prior to your cruise Sure, you should be able to go on line with the cruise line you are booked with and purchase gift certificates for yourself and choose to have them delivered to your self via email. You should then be able to turn right around and credit the gift certificates to your on board account. I have done this with RCCL, Carnival and Celebrity. If you have any problems please drop me a line and I will be happy to help you. My DH and I do this all of the time. We use our debit card so that we have plenty of money to spend on board (or withdraw as cash for spending on shore) that way we to do add to our credit card balance. wgpmap@hotmail.com
