Carnival Inspiration question

Does anyone know if there are blow dryers on this ship? I am cruising in less than a week and wonder if I need to take a dryer

Yes, there are blow dryers. However, they are pretty weak...they did ok with my husband's shorter hair but not with my longer hair. I was glad we had our own with us.

Did they recently add blow dryers? We sailed the Inspiration August 2008 and at the time they did not provide blow dryers.

Well it might depend on the cabin your in. I was on the Inspiration 3/4/09 in an inside cabin and there was not a blower to be found. My sister and I looked everywhere for one and never found it.

Fortunitly I had asked my sis to bring hers (she lives in Flordia) as I didn't want to take up space in my suitcase when flying. So at least we had 1 between us.

I don't want to risk not having one, or having a crappy one, so I will take my own. My hair is longer than your DH's....I'll bet.

In light of everyone else's comments, perhaps I'm getting the Inspiration confused with one of the other ships we've been on. Sorry about that. On the ships we've been on, the dryers on the wall in the bathroom or in the drawers in the cabins are not very strong. I'd still recommend taking your own whether there is one actually there or not. Again, I appologize for the mis-information. I vaguely remember not having one on a cruise, it very well could have been that one.

I too was on the Inspiration in August 08 in an OV room, no hair dryer there. My wife has hair down to her a$$ and she had to bring hers.
