Dawn 2 nighter - When can I leave the ship?

I will be sailing on the Dawn 2 nighter from NYC May 1-3 and was wondering if anyone knows the earliest time I will likely be able to leave the ship when it arrives on Sunday. I am in the Garden Villa so I assume I can call the concierge and arrange to be one of the first off, but I am wondering about what time that might be at. Thanks in advance for your help.

The ship docks very early - so I guess as soon as they open the doors you can go. The ship doesn;t have to deal with customs so getting off the ship is a very smooth process, no luggage either - just walk off.:D

They don;t call colors or anything, you just leave the ship. Hope this helps.

I don't if they have priority disembarkation on the 2 nighter, but I never made it past a minisuite so I am not sure what a GV gets. Since we didn't stop anywhere, You should be able to get off the ship within an hour after the ship docks. (8 am is docking time) I remember on the Gem one nighter they were pretty quick getting the ship ready for disembarkation.

If you would like, join our Roll Call. We'd love to have you!

normally, the ship is back in port by about 6 am, 7 at the latest although my ticket says 8 am.

as you are in the gv, even for a 2 nighter, you call the concierge the day before if he hasn't called you already. then you tell him what your needs are and he makes it happen. you keep your luggage (you can't check it in or have them take it off the ship even if you want to) and you can be escorted off the ship as soon as it is cleared.

alternatively, you can hang in the atrium and get on line to depart (they hate that though) on the first call.

enjoy the GV, my home away from home (6x on the dawn). if you haven't seen it/done it before, it's an experience.

BE SURE THAT WHEN YOU ARRIVE, YOU HEAD FOR THE LINE MARKED VILLAS AND SUITES. you are entitled to and will receive outstanding treatment, even on a two nighter.

Oh, man, if I were ever in the Garden Villa, they'd have to pull me off the darrned ship, screaming and kicking the whole way!

I LOVE the way Norwegian lets you leave any time you'd like (before 10:30 I think it was). On the January 1-nighter we had brkfst and then left around 9:00am. There was hardly any line to leave and all went perfectly!

I wish other cruise lines would try this instead of herding you in to waiting areas!

My wife and I will be boarding the Dawn for the Bermuda cruise as you are disembarking from the CTN. While we obviously hope you have a great time on the 2 night cruise, make sure you keep the ship in good order for us, please ... !!!
