Booking Number

Is it a bad idea to give our booking number out to a lot of people? I give it to family and friends so they can buy us Christmas gifts (onboard credit).

 

However, we do a gift exchange at work and I was just curious as to whether or not giving out our booking number was some kind of "safety" issue... I mean, I doubt anyone would call up and CANCEL our cruise (Uh oh...could they??) :D

 

I would like to dissiminate my booking number to as many people as possible b/c that greatly increases the chances of people buying us onboard credit as a christmas gift!! :D

Someone can put shipbaord credit or order items for you without the booking number. All they need is your sail date and ship you are sialing on. No worries that way.
