judygolfing Posted December 22, 2004 #26 Share Posted December 22, 2004 Thanks for the info, I would be lost without my iron, so now I can use the steamer. I also ordered the binoculars. Appreciate all the great info on these boards...
Chorts Posted December 22, 2004 #27 Share Posted December 22, 2004 I just received my steamer yeterday. Tried it on a pair of hubby's pants and it works pretty darn good. I love these boards for all the neat info I get. Also ordered 2 sets of packing cubes from e.bags. They were on sale for $17.95 and no shipping costs. I did a trial packing of hubby's socks and underwear in the med cube and packed 10 days' worth. Neat, compact and all he has to do is pull the cube from the luggage and put in drawer.Quick and painless :)

Dani24 Posted January 14, 2005 #29 Share Posted January 14, 2005 The steamer others suggested sounds like a great idea, and I'll probably get one for myself at some point, too. Another suggestion would be to bring a bottle of Downy Wrinkle Releaser. You just spray it on wrinkles, smooth and tug on the fabric with your hands, and the wrinkles come out. I've found this to be very useful when I need to remove a quick wrinkle, and don't have time to pull out the iron and ironing board.
