Solstice Gym??

Recommended Posts

Hi ,I am due to sail on the Solstice in the next few weeks and wondered if anyone could tell me if there are separate men and ladies steam and sauna facilities. Also does Celebrity charge for me to use the gym and steam room???

Any advise would be great.

The Solstice Gym locker rooms, both men's and women's, each have a dry heat sauna, which is part of the locker room and free of charge.

There is no wet-heat sauna in the locker rooms. However, if you do want to use a steam room you would have to use the Persian Gardens - which has a co-ed steam room. The cost of the Persian Gardens vary depending on the length of the cruise, and is free if you purchase an Aqua Spa cabin.

The use of the gym itself (weight equipment, treadmills, mats, etc) and the locker rooms are completely free.

I hope this helps.

To the best of my knowledge, i don't think there was any rowing machines.

Here's a pic of the gym ... Doesn't do it justice, as it's a bit bigger. Lots of treadmills, elliptical machines, and and a few bikes. As well, several weight machines.

Do they have a rowing machine? I like to use one because I - it makes me feel like I'm helping the ship move along! Just need a guy pounding on a drum to sync all the rowers!!

Denny

Denny, I was on Solstice in March and used the rowing machine. There are probably two or three, I can't recall exactly.

You may cause the ship to move in circles as they are positioned facing the starboard side of the ship rather than the bow!!!
