2, what are the theme nights likely to be?

These will depend on the Cruise Director. We had three formal nights on our 14 night NZ cruise. These nights were a Country and Western Hoe Down, a 50s and 60s Rock 'n' Roll Party, Latin Fiesta Night and Island Night Deck Party. The only ones that I saw people dress up for were the popular Island Night and the Country & Western Night.

P&O do ususlly have a Priate theme night, and they have it the same night as the Priates of the Pacific Show...very good show by the way...

With all the action of recent events off the coast of Somalia, they may decide to drop Pirate Night:eek:

On the Pacific Dawn (not Pacific Sun) there is a Pirate Show on stage, but not a Pirate Night or Pirate Party the way the Island Night and Country & Western nights are party nights. There were a couple of people sitting in the theatre with scarves around their heads trying to look like pirates, but I thought they looked a bit odd when it wasn't a Pirate Party Night.:):)
