We're going in December on the Spirit. Checked out all the shore excursions--we like to snorkle--anyone been to these ports and can you give me some info about the shore excursions or if we can do things on our own? Are other companies w/excursions out on the pier?? Thanks!!

the ship drops you off in Zihuatanejo- and yes it is a cute adorable charming town- do your shopping here if you did not find what you want in Acapulco.

For snokeling- you can try Isla Ixtapa- take a cab from the pier for ten bucks to the "marina"

Pay 3 bucks per person for a water taxi to the island. You can snorkel and there are resturants there with a nice beach. Don't pay for the ship excursion- unless you have money coming out or your ears!!! you can do it cheaper!!!

Do a search for snorkel and each port- I know I saw some posts out there regarding this

GOOD LUCK
