CasaSmith Posted April 25, 2009 #1 Share Posted April 25, 2009 My DH and I just booked the Eurodam from Quebec to Fort Lauderdale and was wondering if anyone did this cruise last year? How were the seas after leaving Boston and New York going south? Also, on a 14 day cruise how many formal nights and what nights are they? Thanks so much,
JimVrhovac Posted April 25, 2009 #2 Share Posted April 25, 2009 Only problem we had with the seas was when off the Canadian coast. It got real rough for a couple days there. We did it last year and are doing it again this year. Ruth & Jim
RuthC Posted April 25, 2009 #3 Share Posted April 25, 2009 Since there's usually two formal nights per week, a 14-night cruise would be expected to have four formal nights.
JimVrhovac Posted April 25, 2009 #4 Share Posted April 25, 2009 May want to check the roll call as it has been somewhat acive with those of us that are doing the repositioning this year. Ruth & Jim
DGF Posted April 26, 2009 #5 Share Posted April 26, 2009 Rough Seas- Sorry but will be the luck of the draw. We did the New York to Montreal cruise on board the Crystal Symphony. Had very good weather and calm seas. However, the return cruise I understand ran into a major storm and I expect rough seas We did the New York south cruise on board the QM2. Again were lucky with the weather; but given its size and draft QM2 it results in a smooth cruise so this comment might not be representative of a smaller ship's experience DEAN
