Pacific Sun - Water Slide

Has the waterslide been removed on Pacific Sun. We are going on 27 May and my kids were really looking forward to it.

 

Also how does 'Your Choice Dining' work - we went on the same ship in October 07.

im affraid so, it was taken off at it last refit late last year. and the gazeebo on deck 9 was removed as well

The slide was removed in the renovations last year here is a link to a discussion about it http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=844616&highlight=water+slide . It is ashame it's gone, my boys wern't tall enough to go on it last time we cruised her & I said i'd take them back on the Pac Sun when they were taller. With the slide removal there is apparently a lot more room on deck which would be great for island night.
