Where's the best lobster dinner?

We'll be on a 10-day cruise to New England and Canada in October and want to have a fantastic lobster dinner or lunch. Our port stops will be in Boston, Halifax, Quebec City, Prince Edward Island and Sydney. Suggestions?

Thank you both so much. We haven't planned an excursion for Halifax yet, so maybe we'll just EAT then walk up to the Citadel!

Well the best Lobster Dinners are actually in Newfoundland.. but since you're not going there.... :)

 

PEI would be 'famous' for lobster dinners.. so if you're looking for the tourist memory I would recommend PEI. Lobster on the Wharf is a good choice right downtown Charlottetown so very convenient. http://www.lobsteronthewharf.com/index.asp

 

 

Now, if you are looking for a more upscale experience there are some great choices in Halifax as well. McKelvies and Salty's were both mentioned earlier in this string and I would highly recommend either.

Is one closer to the dock? Looking at the map on Salty's web site, I spotted several spots that could have been a cruise ship dock.
