COTINGEY Posted May 3, 2009 #2 Share Posted May 3, 2009 Golden Age Passport pass have been discontinued and have been replaced by the America the Beautiful – National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass– Senior Pass. However, they will still be honored. Only paper Golden Age and Access Passports may be exchanged free of charge for new plastic passes and must be done so in person. It is my understanding that any national park that has a visitors center will have the cards. We will switching our Golden Access (disability) out sometime on our trip to Alaska. You can go to this website to check out all the places that honor National Park Passes: www.nps.gov. Then pick your state and there it is in green. Then you can do a search to find out what is available in terms of trailes, ammenities, etc. Happy cruising to Alaska!
Nancyquilts Posted May 4, 2009 #3 Share Posted May 4, 2009 Ketchikan - Southeast Alaska Discovery Center - about 2 blocks from the pier near the lumberjack show. Your pass will get up to 4 people in free.
