disembarking/embarking same day port everglades

We are disembarking HAL ship and embarking Princess ship on same day. Could someone tell me how we zip around the pier - do we have to go out and come back in because of security or can we simply walk around ?? Also, assuming we got off HAL around 10 am how long would we have to wait for the other terminal to open???

Princess and Holland dock too far apart. Three-Four miles. $10.00 taxi ride anywhere in the Port. Usually you can get in the terminal @10:00am
