When do I call??? Upgrade question

I am scheduled for the May 17th Splendor sailing. I called to talk to Carnival today about the situation. The woman was really nice and told me that if a stateroom that is nicer is now the same price or lower than what we paid for our room, we get an upgrade.

 

My question is this- Right now the prices are a *little* lower. When do you think they will go down? The May 10th sailing is much lower than before. I'm kind of worried that if I wait too long, the good cabins will be gone. My whole family is going and we have 6 interior cabins on the lido deck right now. I would LOVE a balcony or spa ov. When should I call?
