Question about adding a room

It's certainly possible. The cruise isn't that far away, though, so I'd call ASAP to check.

And yes, I have done this before. Last year, about six weeks before a cruise, a friend decided she'd like to go, but I like having my own cabin, so I called to see about getting her one. Luck was on our side, and the Carnival PVP I deal with secured her a cabin directly across the hall from mine. She 'linked' the bookings, so we'd have the same dining room/time, etc. THEN when I found a lower rate three days prior to sail date, we were both given a shipboard credit.

SO - If you're able to get that other cabin, make sure the reservations are "linked". Good luck.:)
