alabama ghost Posted May 12, 2009 #1 Share Posted May 12, 2009 We'll be sailing on the Majesty on Saturday, 5/16 and are spending the night in Charleston. I realize they won't start letting passengers on board until 12 noon, but have heard some horror stories in the reviews about long lines. When do you recommend we get to the port? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Check this out: http://www.port-of-charleston.com/cruises/documents/EMBARKATION_GUIDELINES_NORWEGIAN%20MAJESTY_NOV_15_08_TO_MAY_16_2009-2-A.pdf http://www.charlestoncvb.com/visitors/index.html As for lines... are you driving or being dropped off? If driving get by noon as it could be long... you have to drop off luggage at Union pier, park car and take a shuttle to the passenger terminal.
