helenchickchick Posted May 13, 2009 #1 Share Posted May 13, 2009 We are going on 23 May round Baltic. We have the tickets etc, and it says between 1-3pm. Is it best to arrive for 1pm? or wait for initial rush/people to arrive? If you go at 1pm can you go to cabins/have a drink etc? Thanks for your help.x:p
davecttr Posted May 13, 2009 #2 Share Posted May 13, 2009 Is this from Harwich? Last year I went on the Celebration to the Fjords. My ticket said arrive between 1-3pm. I had to check out of the local Premier Inn at noon so went straight to the cruise terminal. Over 100 people were already there. I was on the ship before 1pm and having a nice drink before taking lunch in the Lido. You are shown to your cabin as soon as you board, your luggage arrives later. They will probably let you on about 12, like they did when we went on the Celebration short cruise. The worse case is that you will be at the front when they do board, but most likely they will let you on board like they did with us. You can then quickly unpack because your cases will go straight to your cabin, then you can go to the lido bar and look down on the big long queue with a cocktail in your hand and a smile on your face ;);)
