Majesty of the Seas

I'll be on Majesty on June 15 and was wondering if anyone has been on this ship lately and your opinion.

Just got home on Monday. :)

I thought it was a great ship. Small, but I think that's actually a plus. You don't have to walk miles to get from one place to another. Some of the best service we've ever had (Stewart for cabin 5552 was fabulous!) and I was actually impressed with the food. Our last RCCL cruise was a disappointment on the food (except Chops, which was great) and we were a little leary going in, but were very happy.

Cruise director is super hyper, but fun. Lots to do in a short amount of time. Oh, and the ship was hardly to capacity, which was great for being able to enjoy everything w/o feeling crowded.

We were on the Majesty this past March and it was great...the ship was filled to capacity but that didn't seem to hamper things (although elevators might have gotten busier at times)....ship was clean, food was good, service was excellent...you will enjoy it

I was on Majesty in January 09. She's great for a short cruise. The refurb looks great. The rooms were small, but they were fine for me and my BFF. Always plenty of deck chairs (we sat one deck up from the pool). The bar staff in Schooner were absolutely wonderful.

I just got off of the Majesty yesterday and miss her already! The ship is beautiful and so well taken care of for her age. The food was fantabulous, well except the pizza but its not like they're advertising gourmet pizza here. I thought that for 2 people, our room (5th floor window) was just fine size wise and the location of it was great!!! I would recommend that floor for this ship seeing as that floor is like a main hub to the casino, dining rooms, theater, shops, etc...

I cant say enough great things about this cruise. The ship and staff were just incredible. I would sail again no question!

Well we didnt see any of the main shows like Boogie Wonderland or the Signed, Sealed, Delivered show but I can say that the Love and Marriage Show was hilarious! We had endless laughs. The Quest was very entertaining and we both enjoyed that. Also, they had an adult comedian on the last night and he was great. Oh, we did go to the Battle of the Sexes game in Boleros Lounge and I would not miss that. We went to karaoke 3 nights and got a kick out of it. We didnt participate because we didnt want anyone's ears to bleed, but it was just so much fun to watch! People on our cruise must have left their inhibitions in Miami. They would sing everything and then dance to it... it was so entertaining which is why we kept going back! On the day you go to Coco Cay, make sure you're back on the boat and get a good view for the belly flop contest. It is worth the time!

Anything else, just ask. :)

and have sailed on her many many times. We are going for July 4th! and while on board will probably pick another before October. My only negative is the Muster Drill in the sun, other than that it is great. There is a more relaxed atmosphere than the mega ships but there is still plenty to do.

Anyone do a couples massage on this ship? If so how much? Never did this on this ship.

Deana, have a great trip - remember us from the Freedom? You made the wonderful door signs for everyone in our group.

Haha, too funny! I was on Majesty 4 years ago (I believe she's gotten a real upgrade since then) and I think we might have had the same Stewart! If it's who I'm thinking of - he's awesome, I agree! Very attentive! My friend was freaking out about her luggage not arriving at our cabin, as the rest of ours had - and he went down to get it himself. Super service!

Ps - I also liked the smallness of the ship.

No lifejackets for muster drill.:D I just got off her also.

No fair, we had to wear ours. At least we were seated in the air conditioned Boleros lounge.

The comedian was wonderful. We laughed so hard. The love and marriage show was great, too.

Thanks for all these posts! I'm going on Majesty one week from today with my boyfriend - he's a first time cruiser, I've been on RCCL before (Adventure 2 years ago and then a mid-size ship a few years before that, I forget which one) and Disney. I love RCCL and although this ship won't be as grand as Adventure was I am sure we will have a blast. Can't wait!
