Airfare for Costa Summer Cruises-Venice

The cruise prices are great, although I can't find a good deal on airfare.

 

What sites do you suggest? Book w/ Costa direct? I need airfare from the midwest?

 

August or late July cruise. Any tricks on getting good air?

Wife and I are going on Costa Victoria leaving from Venice on July 11th for 7 day cruise to Italy, Greece & Croatia.

 

As for airfare, I booked directly with Delta on http://www.delta.com (saves $20 per person by booking online vs. calling Delta). Obtained good airfare ($863 per person with 1 stop in Atlanta). You may also check out http://www.kayak.com for good deals on airfare, as well as hotels, rental cars.

www.kayak.com is a good site to find fares. They are an aggregator site that scours all other sites looking for the best prices. That is how I found my airfare to Europe for late August to mid September.

We are leaving on the Serena in July- just booked our tickets a couple of days ago. We are flying into Milan then taking the train-it was much cheaper than flying into Venice- our tickets were 900-RT from Phoenix.
