Grenada: Grand Anse or other nice beaches?

Hi - Our cruise will be in Grenada on Dec 21st and we're hoping to spend some time at a beach there. Does anyone know how Grand Anse is after Hurrican Ivan? Is it still a good beach to go to - clean, safe, accessibility to facilities and food, etc.? How do we get there from the cruise terminal?

What other beaches would you recommend?
