Beach Cover Up

Wondering if it's ok to ride the bus in Bermuda with a beach cover up on, after all we will be on our way to the beach. What about if we end up gift shopping or even grabbing something quick to eat (not fancy) on the same outing, will we be allowed in these places?

Depends on what the coverup is like. Yes, you'll be on your way from the beach but Bermuda is more conservative than most places.:)

i'd say it depends on your cover up. would you wear that on a bus at home or would you wear it in a restaurant at home? bermuda is conservative as the other poster said. i have lived in three resort communities over the years. while we kind of had to put up with various forms of dress (or undress) around us during "in season" time, we didn't necessarily like it or approve.

Well, when you put it that way, I can see what you mean. I would have to say that mine looks more like a very casual summer dress. So I guess I could get away with it. Thanks for your input.
