Thanks, Carol I suspect Mevin will be your butler. They tend to work the same areas and not be moved around. Many times when we came back to the cabin after dinner Mevin had arranged one of my husbands T-shirts in an amusing layout on the bed. He kept offering to make reservations for us at Prime C and Aqualina even though we had already made them ourselves. We were given two extra reservations there that just appeared on our door and Mevin swore he didn't make them, but I suspect he did. So of course we used them. Mevin also brought us a cheese and fruit tray to go with our cabin wine on his own and was bringing a fresh sliced fruit plate in the afternoons, which was nice after touring all day. There were no problems with the room at all. It's very quiet as it is the first cabin on the hall. I never noticed the spray on the veranda except for the day there was a storm. karolm Posted May 20, 2009 Author #5 Share Posted May 20, 2009 Thanks for the info on 8000. Last year there were people complaining of a heavy smell of smoke around 8000 since it is next to employee quarters. Mevin sounds great. We will appreciate him. Time to pack......... susiesan Posted May 20, 2009 #6 Share Posted May 20, 2009 The door to the officer cabins corridor is right by the cabin door. When a crew member was going in and out I did smell some smoke, but never in the cabin. I wouldn't call it a "heavy" smell.
