We are home from our cruise and I'll be posting some items here in the next week or two. What a thrill to come home to a box from Marie. A top I had hoped for (it will look stunning under my work suits) and a surprise dress!

Just wanted to wish you all Merry Christmas! I had planned to list some dresses on here to pass on but another opportunity came up. A church about an hour away burned to the ground. They have insurance to rebuild but what they can't replace was all the formal dresses they had collected to take to Appalachia for girls to wear to their prom. A local friend put the word out and we were able to collect 87 in 5 days. I donated a surprising 12 myself. Who knew I had some at the back of the closet???;) It such a wonderful feeling to give to such a great cause.

Received a great pick me up on a day I'm not feeling well, package from Marie

 

I wasn't sure about the color but Larry wanted me to get it. I have to say he has good taste because I love the dress and color on me! I'm going to have to hem it, it's a tad long even with heels. I think it will be great for our Feb cruise.

JS Collections dark blue gown, size 16. Lisa sent me this one for my mom to wear but it needed to be shortened quite a bit and with all that went on this year, that never happened.

 

Tadashi Shoji gown that Marie sent to me. The size tag is missing, but I'd put it at a large 8 or a small 10. Gorgeous!
