Best Society dress, size medium. I wore this for a dinner in a specialty restaurant. The skirt is slit way up, but there is a short (mid-thigh) skirt underneath.

JS Collections dark blue gown, size 16. Lisa sent me this one for my mom to wear but it needed to be shortened quite a bit and with all that went on this year, that never happened.

 

Tadashi Shoji gown that Marie sent to me. The size tag is missing, but I'd put it at a large 8 or a small 10. Gorgeous!

I've been sick all week and finally tried on the "surprise" dress from Marie. I have to admit when I looked at it I thought that no way it was going to work for me. It seemed to have a bare back and I don't have the proper bra for it, and wasn't sure I'd be comfortable with it. So, I tried it on this morning with my regular bra and it fit perfectly, nothing showing! Marie has an uncanny way of knowing what will look good on us. Bad photo, quick snaps with my camera, but here it is!

Thank you very much. I'm not sure that shade is my "favorite" color, or that I have a favorite color, but I LOVE green! For years and years I avoided it, now it's one that always catches my eye in any shade but lime. I love gray too, but I somehow don't see a formal in gray. But if I ever see one, I'm definitely going to try it on!

Just got back from our New Yr's get away, so wanted to wish everyone a "belated" Happy New Year. Hope everyone had a safe & healthy one! :D
