I know i read somewhere on here that it is either the liquior store or the airport itself that will box and lock your booze so you can carry it onboard. Anyone with info on this?? Anyone ever done it?? We are flying Continental out of San Juan and would love to take some of the good old cheaper stuff home :D

THANKS!!!

Since the liquids restriction, I've only been able to carry on duty-free purchases from the airport stores, post-security. Everything else needs to be in checked luggage.

I think I saw an ad for the port store in San Juan and they had boxes they "guaranteed" to be checkable and not break anything. I don't think there was anything about it being lockable, just well insulated against breakage. Look on the San Juan board.
