6 Night Western Caribbean cruise on Freedom in Sept..weather??

I know this is hurricane time. Never sailed in September before? Chances of inclement weather? Stops are Key West, Grand Cayman and Jamaica. Your thoughts? The price is really good...kinda hard to pass up. Who else cruises this time of year and...has anyone been on Freedom? How is it?

September is high season for hurricanes; make sure you buy insurance. Be flexible about whether you will care if you do a cruise to nowhere or a change in itinerary. I read 2009 is "supposed" to be a less active season. You could also check http://www.wunderground.com for historical information.
