Been reading about the showa this season on here but I am dying to know about the shows an Destiny this season- anyone back yet? anyone know anything about shows on Destiny? Much appreciated

Hi, We have just returned from the Mediterranean Renaissance Cruise aboard the Thomson Destiny, The shows where very good, here is a brief discription of them

 

PIECES OF EIGHT :- Rally round the flag boys! The Captain and his crew are doing their best to repel Captain Jack Spade and his gand of saucy pirates.

 

MOULIN ROUGE :- We take you to "gay paree" for a feast of glitz and glamour, Sony, Dance Comedy and of course the can-can

 

SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE :- The comic talents of the UK guest act Kev Orkian

 

CONCERTO :- A Carfully chosen selection of favourite musical theatre numbers and pop favourites in this concert style show

 

A FEAST OF WEBBER WITH A SERVING OF RICE :- Classics from the men who changed the face of the modern musical theatre with selections from Chess, Joseph, Phantom, Superstar and more

 

AN EVENING WITH GAVIN MURRAY :- Assistant Cruise Directort Gavin Murray is centre stage with this very own vocal show

Sounds more or less the shows we had on Destiny in January in the Caribbean - all excellent - especially loved Concerto - had seen Moulin Rouge a couple of times before on Spirit and Celebration but still loved the Can Can. Is Keefe Maynard still the CD on there - must be about time for them to have a change over. As soon as anyone has any info on who the CD will be next January on Destiny, please pass it on. The CD always makes or breaks the holiday for us. Keefe Maynard was excellent but the best we have ever had was Richard Sykes a few years back - he was totally brilliant.

Whats the group like in the Clipper Bar for the summer season on the Destiny. ??

Last year they had a 3 peice Russian Group who were pretty dire. As the week went on the louder they got. Awfull.
