Murphey Posted May 25, 2009 #1 Share Posted May 25, 2009 I know the Ruby is a sister to the Emerald/Crown, but I am interested if the Ruby has any modifications to her.....Thanks for your input.

The Ruby is brand new. All 3 are identical save a few decor colors.
Caribbean Sunsets Posted May 25, 2009 #3 Share Posted May 25, 2009 The only difference that I know of is that the Riveria Aft cabins are now balcony cabins where as they are ocean view on the Crown. Otherwise, the layout is the same. I've been on both the Ruby and Crown.

Murphey Posted May 25, 2009 Author #5 Share Posted May 25, 2009 Thanks for your replies. Although we are loyal Princess cruisers, I am one who likes to see some changes thoughout the ships. A little variety if you please. I know it's nice to "feel at home" on all of the ships, but they are all now so similar it really doesn't matter which ship you are on. On the bright side, we are cruisers who never thought we'd like the "big" ships, and we now enjoy all they have to offer. (Especially the exercise one gets walking from one end to the other!! :D) There just isn't the excitement of going on a new (to us) ship anymore...however the excitement of just cruising never wans....
