Wine & Cheese tray or Strawberries & Champagne?

Which would you prefer? I'm having a hard time deciding!

if it were just me - Strawberries and Champagne hands down. With the hubby it would have to be Wine and Cheese (hubby's not a big strawberry fan). Why not just splurge and do both?:eek:

Depends what the event is, but for me Strawberries and Champagne for sail away and to celebrate the start of another cruise.

Sailaway! I'm thinking strawberries and champagne too but someone walked by while I was talking about it and said wine and cheese. ;)

You can get the "international cheese plate" for free anytime from room service. (We did this every night on our last cruise to munch and watch the sun set before dinner.) :)

On our last cruise, we go the wine and cheese plate (the wine was the Cabernet). It was so good!!! Of course, I love cheese so I would pick it over strawberries. I'm sure the strawberries would be good too.

I love both of these but for our last cruise I had champagne and strawberries and it was so decadent and celabratory for sail away! We drink wine at home and I could seriously live off of cheese, I love it so much. This just felt different and more special becuase we don't often have it.

It was also pretty romantic - enough so to skip the upper deck and have our own sailaway party.....:eek:;):o

I don't sail for a year yet and you've got me craving strawberries and champagne!!! Will have to order that for sailaway - kids can help me eat the strawberries, but the champagne is all mine!!! :D

I believe champaign is the traditional sail-away beverage. There's just something about the pop of the cork that says, "bon voyage.":D

Champagne at sail away, then get the wine and cheese when leaving your favorite port. Best of both worlds :)

I need to go to cork popping class. On my last cruise it almost went through the ceiling.....LOL
