mhquinn Posted December 12, 2004 #1 Share Posted December 12, 2004 Anyone have any idea what kind of beer you can buy onboard a Royal Caribbean Cruise? My husband wants me to try and find out before we leave in January. Any information is greatly appreciated.
datafacs Posted December 13, 2004 #2 Share Posted December 13, 2004 RCI has most of your beers you would find at a good restaurant; most American brands plus Corona, Red Stripe (my personal fave), Heiniken etc.
mhquinn Posted December 14, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted December 14, 2004 Thank you. My husband drinks Old Vienna, He drinks either Miller or Molson or Corona if they have those. Thanks again. It's such a trivial question but he really wanted me to try and find out. mhq

Brian&Dwayne Posted May 24, 2005 #7 Share Posted May 24, 2005 Is RCCL a Coke or Pepsi?
alikaalex Posted May 25, 2005 #8 Share Posted May 25, 2005 Is RCCL a Coke or Pepsi? I took a look at the RCI site and found the following quote on one of the FAQ pages: "A complimentary Coca Cola souvenir cup is included as part of the package." So I guess if they're offering Coke cups, you-know-who provides the soft drinks. That's OK by me, though. I'm planning on getting the drink package on my 3 June 2005 Monarch cruise. (Got this annoying addiction to Diet Coke. It's sad really.)
Brian&Dwayne Posted May 25, 2005 #9 Share Posted May 25, 2005 (Got this annoying addiction to Diet Coke. It's sad really.) I know - me too! Obviously mine is so bad I was forced to ask here before I sail. Thanks for all the detective work you did.

lablvr2 Posted August 7, 2005 #11 Share Posted August 7, 2005 I was never impressed with RCI's chose of beers after my first cruise. I am from upstate NY and we love our Canadian beer! I have flown it down to FL for 8 years and only had ONE can release during a flight. Always amazed when a fellow cruiser asks me where I bought my Molson or Labatts. I make sure I share :) Susan

giblert Posted October 13, 2005 #15 Share Posted October 13, 2005 The only [decent] beers on the last RCCL were Boddingtons and Guiness. I'd love to see them pick up a good microbrew or two on board.
