Recent 45 day letter items?

I have about a week until I can call in my 45 day letter & DDs. What has anyone been offered lately? The only one I had ever gotten before was specifically for $25/pp OBC.

I used my 45 day letter a month ago. I was offered champagne, assorted chocolates, photo coupons & cabin decorations. I chose the champagne which was served the first night a dinner.

Write a letter to Guest Relations regarding your cruise..... Be honest- Mention the names of the staff you came across.. blah blah blah

Agreed. Maybe they started it up again because the CC caused 45 day letter stampede stopped.

Is it only if you have something to fuss about that you get the letter?

I am just not a complainer, if something is bad enough for me to fuss about, Im not going to wait till I get off the ship. I have had some minor things but a quick trip to the Guest Services Desk has remedied them. No worries.

So am I doomed to never get the fabled "45 day letter"

I didn't complain, in fact I praised pretty much everyone and got a letter.

 

No exciting options, decorations, wine, chocolate, strawberries, maybe drink coupons. I didn't get the option of a photo coupon which is what I wanted. I picked the decorations for DH's bday since it will be on board.

 

Turned out he all ready bought anniversary decorations to surprise me. OOPS we'll see what they do.

Earlier this year.. around the end of January..

There was a thread going around a few months back that spoke of the 45 day letter being alive and well.. but i know i will never find it..
