hellosailer Posted June 3, 2009 #2 Share Posted June 3, 2009 Well, whenever it started - great news!!! I can't avail myself of this, but anything that supports our armed forces and other similar organisations, definitely has my vote!!!
PamUK Posted June 3, 2009 #3 Share Posted June 3, 2009 Excellent news! I'll have to ring them as soon as I get home to see if I can get a discount on my current bookings, although they may say 'no' as I got OBC and a discount to start with. But its something to remember for future bookings.:) Its about time we got the same treatment as our US colleagues.
Elizanessie Posted June 3, 2009 Author #4 Share Posted June 3, 2009 Although I cant use it, I am very pleased that RCCL UK are able to do this now. I remember asking about it on the Liberty Pre-Inaugural only to be told it couldnt be done due to different cultures, different rules. Well done RCCL UK :D

sandancer Posted June 3, 2009 #12 Share Posted June 3, 2009 Us too Missus Makkem, I check regularly to see if there are over 55s discounts on any cruises we have reserved. You will see from my screen name that we are almost neighbours Hinny.
spanner14 Posted June 3, 2009 #13 Share Posted June 3, 2009 Sorry Ed..no mention of law enforcement discount :( I emailed them over 3 weeks ago to ask about law enforcement/fire service discounts in the UK....not had an answer yet :( It would be very nice if UK over 55s/law enforcement/emergency services were treated the same way by RCCL as their UK equivalents...... jenrie Posted June 3, 2009 #14 Share Posted June 3, 2009 But what about retired military personnel they can't get forms signed by senior officers so the will be excluded even if they have served for 22yrs or more before they retired
