Carnival Glory Balcony Rooms Question

Recommended Posts

I noticed in the description of the Glory they say the balconies are "glass encased" and I am hoping this doesn't mean they are entirely enclosed, can anyone offer some insight please?

No you are fine :)

The balcony is not "covered" in glass. A thick piece of glass about 4ft high with a wood railing to protect people from falling over

We were on the Glory last year and had a Balcony. The Balcony is open except the sides are enclosed. In addition the balcony has two chairs and a small table on it. Enjoy it in the mornings when coffee and late at night with a nice nightcap. In the Fall and Winter some talk of sleeping with door open. The sounds of the waves are absolutely amazing.

Thanks for the responses and photos!! We've never had a balcony before and are very excited about our trip in December!!

We are Floridians, so it might be too cold for us to leave the door open at night, but hopefully it won't be because that sounds amazing! :p
