Does PofA have a luau on board?

I'd never heard it mentioned before, but I just read a review where the poster stated "we skipped the luau and ate in the buffet." I'm guessing he/she was referring to the excursion. But just to clarify, is there a barbeque on deck one of the last nights that some might call a luau? Thanks

Our son and 8 family members were on the POA last week. There was nothing like an onboard luau, just the excursion one NCL offers. I know for sure there was none three years ago when we were on the Pride of America, but back then they did give out real flower and shell leis upon embarkation, something they have discontinued now.

 

Regardless, they all had an absolutely marvelous week on the POA!
