tlund Posted June 11, 2009 #1 Share Posted June 11, 2009 My husband and I are looking to cruise on the new Carnival Dream. We've cruised some of the other cruise lines, but not Carnival. Since the economy has hit us a bit, we are trying to go on a vacation without busting the bank. Carnival has decent pricing for the Carnival Dream if we take an oceanview cabin at the aft of the ship. We usually select cabins midship so the aft cabin choice would be something new to us. As we haven't cruised Carnival yet, any input/suggestions would help. Thanks.
Scm175 Posted June 11, 2009 #2 Share Posted June 11, 2009 We just returned from the Pride and we loved the Aft balcony. There is a little bit of vibration back there but after the first few hours we didnt notice it. The only disadvantage that I noticed was the long walk to the front of the ship. stlrboo Posted June 11, 2009 #3 Share Posted June 11, 2009 If you are sticking with an OV, you are better off being mid-ship..!:) While the view is great, there may be a little 'motion' involved.. The 'balcony' cabins make up for the 'motion' issue..;) Balcony, the 'aft' is the place to be, IMHO...:D
caribbean dreams Posted June 11, 2009 #4 Share Posted June 11, 2009 For an ocean view cabin, i would personally pick midship.
hoopsielv Posted June 11, 2009 #5 Share Posted June 11, 2009 I'm just curious too- are the windows the same in an aft cabin as they are in a regular ocean view? Or does anyone know if the Dream has any of those floor to ceiling windows?
