lbcruise Posted June 12, 2009 #1 Share Posted June 12, 2009 Husband and I are going to Calica in a few weeks with our children 6 and 11. We are looking for that quiet beach with the little place that has great food and dollar beers. Does it exist and whats the best way to get there? lbcruise Posted June 13, 2009 Author #2 Share Posted June 13, 2009 We understand that we will need to go outside of Calica to PDC, Tulum or other outlying areas. mainly looking for not so crowded and cab vs other options. Any sugestions would help. Thanks.
gcaskew Posted June 23, 2009 #3 Share Posted June 23, 2009 This will be my 2nd trip to PDC and I can't wait. We took a cab to PDC and just sat on the beach infront of the little square and had drinks and tacos and other fun stuff and then walked up to 5th street and went to a mexican restaurant and it was the bomb. Tried chocolate tequilia, my wife loved it, at little stores. You may go to other places but just laying out at PDC and doing 5th street is great, it's all we plan on doing on our cruise Sept 7th. lbcruise Posted June 24, 2009 Author #4 Share Posted June 24, 2009 Thanks for the info, we leave in 5 days and can't wait! Think we are going to head to The beaches just south of Tulum first and then PDC on the way back. Not interested in touring the ruins on this trip but would love to see the view from the beach.
