Places to Snorkel in Belize

We are planning a trip to Belize and would love to know any great places that people have snorkeled.

You'll have to go out to one of the cayes to snorkel. I'd suggest looking at some of the excursions that your ship offers and then coming back on these boards to read some of the reviews. You won't find any snorkeling on the mainland.

You can book a trip at the tenderdock if you don't want to book thru the ship. You have fewer people on these, plus they run 20% to 40% cheaper. I have never had a problem. You can also check these boards for online tours. There are several that have good reps. Coralbreeze is one that comes to mind but there are others.

 

We took a tour to Bannister Island. Nice place and good snorkel tour.

Our favorite tour to snorkel in Belize is with Coral Breeze where they take you to two snorkel spots & then a local lunch on Caye Caulker.

You meet them on the dock where you tender into.

Not very crowded like the ships tours.

Look for their web site & get all of the details.

We have been with them many times & all were a good time.
