How far in advance to book excursions?

We are taking a cruise tour in late June 2010? When should I start booking excursions?

Thanks,

Bill

If you are booking excursions privately, you should start now to secure your spot.

We booked Island Wings for our July 2009 trip in April 2008 and also booked Harv and Marv's in June of 2008. Captain Davey in Sitka was around the same time frame. We were happy that we got our spots reserved and didn't have to worry about it.

Plan what you want to do and book as early as possible.

Happy planning.

IF you know exactly what you want, then book early. BUT many times, people don't, so do your homework and start booking at the 6 month mark. Usually many tours still have availability. More important, hopefully, you "know" everything about your cruisetour?? Can have many shortfalls/mistakes in choices, that people just don't realize.
