Grenada

Has anyone been there recently? We have a scheduled stop here on Christmas day and I'm concerned about the state of the island after the hurricanes this year.

I was in grenada last week. The blue tarp roofs are sad looking. But the beach I went to was great. It depends on your focus. Water taxi to Grand Anse or Magazine beach(my preference) was $5pp each way. The shopping was really good up the hill.

My family was there in November on the NCL Spirit, and loved Grenada. There was still alot of "devastation" there ,but the island is beautiful. I cannot wait to go back after the rebuild. Grand Anse beach was great. We did a taxi ride w/ another couple for $70 total.... You will make of it what you want, so if you want to see a beautiful island, that has had some hard luck, you will still enjoy it.
