gerirdh Posted June 14, 2009 #1 Share Posted June 14, 2009 We sail in 9 days with about 15 teens celebrating high school graduation. We are looking at the Corona Beach Break excursion, but from what research we have done so far it looks like we can do this on our own by using the double decker busses and save a lot of money. The kids are wondering if we will be able to play volleyball or if there is music on the beach if we are not on the excursion. Are there any other activities on the beach if we are not on the excursion?

The beach has plenty of palapas and chairs and the resturants will serve you right on the beach. The dd bus ride is nice but you don't need it to get to the beach. Another option that might interest you, especially if volleyball is on the agenda, is a trip to Reef Yucatan. This is a plush resort with a fantastic pool, lots of beach, volleyball, transportation, food, a small ruins tour and an OPEN BAR. You can book with Auto Progreso at the bus stop/flea market.
